Free Food Preservation Summit Starts July 6

Hey friend,

If your grocery bill feels higher every time you shop, you’re not imagining it.

And if you’ve been thinking, “This is the summer I finally learn how to preserve food properly,” I found a free training that may help.

The Summer Preservation Summit 2026 runs live online from July 6 to 8, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM PT each day.

It’s hosted by the School of Traditional Skills, and it’s focused on practical food preservation skills for regular families.

🌱 You don’t need a freeze dryer.

🌿 You don’t need a huge garden.

🍳 And you don’t need a perfect homestead kitchen.

You’ll learn how to start filling your pantry with safe, tested food preservation methods, including:

  • fermenting
  • dehydrating
  • water-bath canning
  • spotting unsafe recipes online
  • setting up a pantry system that actually gets used
  • fixing common problems like failed jar seals and early spoilage

This is the kind of training I like sharing because it meets you where you are.

🥕 Maybe you’ve got a few raised beds.

🥦 Maybe you buy extra produce at the farmers market.

🍅 Maybe you just want to stop wasting food and feel a little more secure when prices jump again.

Either way, learning how to preserve food safely is one of those old-fashioned skills that still makes sense today.

The summit is free to watch live, but you do need to save your seat.

Save your free seat here.

I’m an affiliate for this summit, which means I may earn a commission if you choose to purchase anything after signing up. The live summit itself is free to attend.

Start small. Learn the safe way. Fill one shelf at a time.
